Platek's grid is a collection of separate paintings, a sum that is greater than its parts, which offers an array of connections and randomness. The grid built by Platek is a structure creating a complex composition of relations on the one hand, and seeks to highlight the arbitrariness on the other hand. It emphasizes the way objects are presented in popular culture, the takeover of consumerism and the never-ending selection that keeps expanding.
